A section 8 company is a charitable institution and promotes the development of arts, music, science, sports, commerce and religious activities.
It is registered under section 8 of the Companies Act passed in 2013.

Filings First shall help you in the procurement of Digital Signature Certificate.
This is followed by checking of Name availability. The chosen name is applied for Name reservation under "RUN".
MOA/AOA and other required documents shall be drafted by Filings First. Stamp Duty payments and notarisation shall be done to the required documents
We shall make an application for grant of license for the Sections 8 Company. Ministry shall overview our application and respond to out application 3-4 days.
Filings First shall then proceed further with DIN, Pan and TAN application of the company
Once the MCA approves our application, we shall obtain the Certificate of Incoroporation
After receiving a Director Identification Number, an NRI or foreign national may serve as a director in a Section 8 company. On the Board of Directors, however, at least one Director must be a resident and citizen of India.
The promoters must submit an e-form INC-12 to the Central Government in order to get said approval. The form is accompanied with the company's Memorandum of Agreement and Articles of Association, promoter declarations, an estimated statement of income and expense for the next three years, etc. If the application is accepted, an approval letter in form INC-16 is given out.
A location in India where the company's registered office will be located is necessary. The location where communications from the MCA will be received may be commercial, industrial, or residential.
An individual identifying number called a ""Director Identification Number"" is given to each Director, both current and potential, of a company. A Director Identification Number is required for all currently serving or aspiring Directors. There is only one Director Identification Number allotted to each individual, and it never expires.
When submitting papers over the Internet, a digital signature helps to electronically verify the sender's or signee's identity. The Directors are required by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) to digitally sign some of the application forms. Consequently, all Directors of a proposed Section 8 company must possess a digital signature.
